Every September since 1992, CCAPP sponsors National Recovery Month at the California State Capitol where thousands gather to increase awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders and celebrate the people who recover. In an abundance of caution and in compliance with state and federal guidelines, Recovery Happens was held as a virtual live online event. This event is presented by CCAPP (ccapp.us), BHAP (bhap.us), and ARCC (calrecovery.org) with gratitude to our sponsors at thephoenix.org; youngpeopleinrecovery.org/; facesandvoicesofrecovery.org/
