Dave Alexander is the Founder of Recovery and Wellness (RAW). At its heart, RAW is a transitional living community of 30 men reclaiming their lives from addiction in Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley. Dave utilizes a blend of coaching concepts from CCAR’s Recovery Coach Academy and Twelve Step principles, to demonstrate to his residents and the community at large that recovery is not only possible but worth the struggle. Dave graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1996 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Following graduation from UCLA, Dave created Future Youth Inc. a company that focused on innovative strategies for college admission. In 2008, Dave turned his attention to helping people struggling with addiction and alcoholism to achieve the same goals and began working as the Director of the College Program at Northbound Treatment Services. Recognizing the need for safe sober housing, led to the founding of RAW in 2013, which has had outstanding success in guiding recovering young men into not only sobriety, but a life worth living. To date, Dave and the team at RAW have supported hundreds of people struggling with alcoholism, as well as their families, enter recovery, mend relationships, and find their purpose. Outside of his businesses, Dave values family, and lives in south Orange County with his wife, young daughter, and two fur sons.
